Octavia Spencer praises ‘RHOSLC’ star Heather Gay’s fashion

She may be a “Bad Mormon,” but she’s a great dresser!

Heather Gay revealed on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast last week that she is getting busy in her DMs — no, not like that — thanks to outreach from Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer.

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, 40, revealed that she gets questioned about her fashion by fans all the time, saying, “Everyone asks who my stylist is, and it is me. I style myself.”

Spencer, 52, lavished praise on Gay, who recalled her response to the “Hidden Figures” star: “I said, Octavia, I will quit ‘Housewives’ today. I will move to LA, I will style you [for] every event [or] just for around the house, you know, just mornings with coffee, just anything you want.”

Being a businesswoman herself, the Beauty Lab & Laser mogul already has a plan in place to make this happen.

“Basically, I’m just going to, like, send her everything I buy. I’m going to buy one for me, one for Octavia [and] we’re just gonna send it to her,” she said.

Spencer may have to get in line for Heather’s fashion consultation, because “RHOSLC” fans have also been heaping praise on the reality star’s looks recently.

“Chileee @heathergay29 is always on point with her fashion in her confessionals 💯 #RHOSLC I’m here for it,” one fan tweeted.  “@heathergay29 okay I’m going to need you to do a blog or vlog about how to dress, your style is amazing 🤩 you highlight your figure so well. I need pointers asap,” wrote another viewer of the hit Bravo TV show.

The timing of Octavia’s DM couldn’t have been better, because Gay has been dealing with a lot of drama this season. From a gnarly black eye to her friend Jen Shah’s potential prison sentence, we have a feeling Heather needs some retail therapy right about now.

Shah was originally set to be sentenced on December 15, but her attorney, Priya Chaudhry, was able to get it pushed to January 6, 2023. She also tried to get into the fashion business this year, releasing “Not Guilty” merch ahead of her fraud trial.

We guess since she shortly after pleaded guilty, those looks are more like collectors’ items now.

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
