FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) — Police are hunting for two suspects wanted for beating up an elderly woman and stealing 50 percent a million bucks in jewellery from a retail outlet in Queens.
It happened Wednesday afternoon at Diamond Gather on 39th Avenue in Flushing owned by Eva Chen.
Chen’s 79-year-old mother is observed on surveillance movie attempting to combat off one particular suspect as a second charge in direction of the front doorway of the household-owned jewellery retail outlet.
“They pushed her down, drag her to the office, they pulled a gun, pointed it at her head,” Chen stated. “‘open the protected, open the protected,’ my mother claimed ‘I really don’t know.’ she was entirely terrified.”
The appointment-only jewellery store is isolated on the 2nd flooring, from the avenue you would in no way know it was there.
But in June, Chen found anything peculiar on her surveillance footage.

Her mom waited, believed the coast was apparent and went to get the package deal. That is when she was attacked.
For approximately eight minutes they smashed glass shows and beat the target.
Chen’s mom was taken to New York Hospital Queens and is predicted to be ok.
Meanwhile, the suspects built off with $500,000 in stolen jewelry and Chen explained she’s thinking about shifting her company out of the professional setting up just after the violent incident.

Police are asking for the public’s aid tracking down each suspects, who were found fleeing on foot southbound toward Prince Avenue.
